Guarantee and refund policy

Updated [date].

The 60-day guarantee. If, in your first 60 days of paid Premium membership, Seatdrop doesn't send you at least one drop from an airport you had selected whose price was at least £150 below the usual price shown with it, we refund every payment you've made for that membership.

How it works, so there's nothing to argue about:

1. The 60 days start on the day your first payment is taken, after the free trial.

2. A drop counts if it was sent to you (by email or WhatsApp) while you were a Premium member, for an airport that was selected in your settings at the time, and its saving, the usual price minus the drop price, was £150 or more per adult ticket. Whether you booked it doesn't matter; the guarantee is that we'll find you the saving, not that you'll take the trip.

3. To claim, email hello@seatdrop.co.uk from your member email within 14 days after the 60 days end, with "Guarantee" in the subject. We'll check your sends log, reply within 5 working days, and refund to the card you paid with. Refunds usually show within 5 working days of being issued.

4. The guarantee applies once per person and to your first Premium membership only.

Cancelling. You can cancel any time from your billing page. Premium runs until the end of the period you've paid for and isn't charged again. We don't refund unused parts of a period except as above or where the law requires.

Your 14-day right to cancel. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you can cancel a Premium purchase within 14 days of making it. Because the trial begins the service immediately at your request, if you cancel after your first paid period starts we may deduct a proportionate charge for the days of service provided; cancel during the trial and you pay nothing at all.

Founding memberships. The £29 price is fixed for as long as your membership stays active. If it lapses, it isn't restored; the spot goes to the next person.

Mistakes on our side. If we charge you wrongly, charge twice, or a drop we sent turns out to have been wrong in a way that cost you money because you reasonably relied on it, tell us and we'll put it right, which may include a refund beyond this policy. We'd rather keep a member than win an argument.
